The Total Cost and Time of a Trading Course
Budget practice, software and access as well as tuition and video duration.
Separate the cost objects
List tuition, recurring software or data, assessment fees and renewal separately. Use the selected offer's actual conditions. A promotional price can have a different eligibility or access boundary from the regular product. If an expense is unknown, keep it unresolved rather than assigning zero.
The commitment worksheet calculates only the values you enter. It does not retrieve current vendor prices or tell you that a course is worth buying. One-time tools and recurring tools are different objects; avoid counting the same cost in both. Choose one currency and record the period covered by the assumptions.
Video duration is only one part of effort
Add viewing, practice, review and project time to a realistic weekly plan. A large archive is not an instruction to watch every item. Decide which lessons serve the objective and which are reference material. Preserve your own workload assumptions rather than presenting them as an official course completion time.
Compare the total hours with the weeks and weekly availability you actually entered. A shortfall is a planning gap, not evidence that the learner or programme fails. An access deadline may require a different sequence or a no-purchase decision. The worksheet does not infer attendance capacity from a trader biography.
Set a review point rather than an ROI promise
Choose a point at which you inspect a fresh learning task and decide whether further access is useful. That decision can be based on errors resolved, remaining prerequisites and included support. A fee should not be described as a guaranteed investment that pays itself back through trading.
The current matrix does not publish a universal cost-per-winning-trade or break-even-profit ranking. Those quantities would require account outcomes and an unsupported causal claim about education. Tuition arithmetic is useful when it stays a budget calculation and retains the unresolved costs.
